PP Hollow Grid Board Production Line (polypropylene hollow grid board production line) is a complete set of equipment specifically used for continuous extrusion production of PP (polypropylene) or PP/PE blend hollow grid boards (also known as corrugated boards, honeycomb boards). The entire production line is usually composed of the following modules:
Raw material processing
• Raw materials: New or recycled polypropylene (PP), with the addition of color masterbatches, UV stabilizers, antistatic agents and other additives when necessary.
Drying, metering and mixing systems ensure that the moisture content is less than 0.02%.
Extrusion system
Single-screw or twin-screw high-efficiency extruders (Ø 90-150mm, L/D 33-36), equipped with ceramic heating rings, vacuum venting, melt pumps and static mixers, ensure uniform melt temperature and good plasticization.
Die head and forming
The T-shaped die head of the hanger type has an internal flow channel that has been polished and chrome-plated. The common discharge widths are 1,220mm, 1,800mm, 2,100mm, and 2,450mm.
The vacuum shaping table and the upper and lower counter-pressing forming molds create a regular "I" or "rice" shaped hollow rib structure. By adjusting the vacuum degree and the temperature of the cooling water, the plate thickness can be quickly shaped and controlled (1.5- 12mm).
Cooling and shaping
• Multi-stage circulating water cooling + air cooling to ensure no stress deformation of the sheet. An optional roller shaping device can be equipped to improve the flatness.
Traction and trimming
• Upper and lower crawler traction machine, speed synchronous servo control; The online edge-cutting saw cuts off the waste edges on both sides and automatically recycles them.
Halo/Flame treatment (optional)
Increase the surface tension to ≥38 dyn to meet the subsequent UV printing, lamination and coating requirements.
Online cutting and stacking
• Servo flying saw or fixed-length shearing machine, with a length that can be set arbitrarily from 2 to 6 meters; The automatic tilting stacker can neatly stack the finished products, and an automatic strapping machine can also be installed.
Automatic control
Siemens PLC+10-15" touch screen, formula management, energy consumption monitoring, remote diagnosis; The entire line adopts EtherCAT bus, and the order change time is less than 5 minutes.
Optional functions
• Co-extruded layer: Online co-extruded UV layer or colored layer to enhance weather resistance;
• Online printing: flexographic or digital pre-printing;
• Online crushing and recycling granulation system for recycled materials.
