PVC Foam Board Production Line (PVC foam board production line) is an automated equipment system specifically used for manufacturing PVC foam boards, and is widely applied in fields such as construction, advertising, furniture, and transportation. This production line features high efficiency, environmental protection and energy conservation, and can produce high-quality boards that are lightweight, heat-insulating, flame-retardant, moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant.

I. Composition of the Production Line

A complete PVC foam board production line usually includes the following core equipment:

Twin-screw extruder (SJSZ series) : Used for raw material melting, mixing and uniform plasticizing;

Mold system: T-shaped die head, used for the initial forming of sheet metal;

Shaping table: Cooling and shaping to ensure the thickness and surface flatness of the sheet.

Traction machine: Multi-roller traction to ensure uniform texture of the sheet.

Cutting machine: Automatic fixed-length cutting;

Stacking platform/automatic palletizing system: Collection and organization of finished products.

Ii. Production Process Flow

Raw material preparation and mixing

Mix PVC resin, stabilizers, foaming agents, lubricants, fillers (such as CaCO₃) and pigments in proportion, and then conduct high-speed hot mixing and low-speed cold mixing to ensure uniform dispersion.

Extrusion and foaming

The mixture enters the twin-screw extruder, where it melts under high temperature and high pressure. At the same time, the foaming agent (such as azodicarbonamide) decomposes to produce gas, forming a uniform cell structure.

Forming and shaping

The molten material is extruded into sheets through molds and then enters the shaping table for cooling and shaping, where the thickness and density of the sheets are controlled.

Traction and Cutting

It is stably conveyed by the traction machine and automatically cut into the required length.

Surface treatment and inspection

It can undergo secondary processing such as lamination, printing and engraving, and finally be packed and stored in the warehouse.

Iii. Product Type

According to the surface treatment method, PVC foam boards are divided into two types:

Crust Foam Board: Smooth surface and high hardness, suitable for high-end decoration and furniture.

Free Foam Board: With a slightly rough surface, it is suitable for secondary processing such as advertising, printing, and engraving.
